Why would companies pay me to take surveys and give my opinion?

In the US alone companies spend over $200 Billion dollars marketing products. If companies spend all that money and no one buys their product that company will no longer be in business come next quarter.

Companies need to know what consumers want to buy so that they will know what to sell.

These companies also know that no one will help them determine what consumers think for free, and that only consumers know what they like. This is why they will reward people for giving up their precious time to answer a survey. The amount these companies pay will vary based on the product, length of the survey, and other factors.

What is a 'Focus Group'?

A 'Focus Group' is a group of potential consumers used in a market research effort, which is usually designed to determine the likely effectiveness of a product or advertising strategy. Simply put it is a group of consumers in a room talking about a particular product or service - cons and pros. Based on the feedback provided the company in question will devise a marketing strategy to sell their product most effectively.

Most 'Focus Groups' require an in-person appearance, but some are conducted online.

Will I need a new computer or a particular operating system for this?

For the online surveys all that you will need is an Internet connection and a web browser. Since you are reading this, you are indeed eligble for this program.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes, there is. You have to be 18 years of age or older to take most surveys and get paid for your time.

Is this program worldwide? What if I live outside the US?

Among the 500+ companies that we list in our members area there are a multitude of companies that are located outside the US and/or are looking to recreuit people from: the UK, Australia, and Canada.

Who pays me, how often do I get paid, how will I get paid?

Once you have access to our members area you have your pick of 500 companies to work for. The company that you choose is the one that will be paying you.

When and how you are compensated will depend on the opportunity that you select. Some companies will pay you once you reach a certain amount, ie: $50 or $25, while others will pay you at the completion of your first survey.

Most companies will pay you via a check sent by snail mail.

Before you participate in any survey the terms of compensation will be disclosed to you so that you can choose whether you want to partake in the particular offer or not.

Is there training that I have to go through?

Once you login to our members area you can start taking surveys right away. Simply follow the instructions provided by those companies and you will be on your way. There are no special skills or instructions needed.

How does this affect my taxes?

If you make more than $600 with any particular company, IRS mandates that company to send you a 1099 and report that income to be taxed by the state/federal government. If you are unsure about your situation please seek legal advice from your tax professional.

How do I know this is not a scam?

How can I change my password to something else?

For security reasons we do not allow members to choose their own passwords. If you wish you can reset your password via the forgotten password feature to a new randomly generated password.

I don't have a credit card, can I pay by money order, check, or cash?

Unfortunately we do not accept money orders, checks, or cash. You can only pay via a credit card or Paypal -- If you have a checking account you can sign up with paypal.com and then by paying via paypal attain membership.

Are there surveys available in multiple languages?

Yes, a few surveys are avilable in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.

What is your phone number? Can I speak to someone via the phone regarding this?
